Metal Pretreatment System


Our metal pretreatment system is eight tank zinc phosphating system. The time duration is based on room temperature.

Tank-1 : Alkaline base degreaser

Metal cleaning is the essential process for the surface finish. Metal cleaning here is removal of grease, oil, soil, lubricating, oxide films etc.

Timing : 10 to 15 minutes.


Tank – 2 : Water rinsing


Tank – 3 : Phosphoric (H3PO4) acid base Deruster.

This process removes rust, scale, loose oil, carbonates etc.

Timing : 15 to 20 minutes.
Tank – 4 : Water rinsing

Tank – 5 : Titanium base Activator/ Modifier.


This process allows the development of compact crystal structure on metal surface for excellent phosphate coating and reduces phosphating time.

Timing : 1minute.

Tank – 6 : Zinc Phosphating.

Zinc phosphate protects the metal surface from corrosion. It also gives superior bonding to the metal surface thus enhancing the durability and life of paints & powder coats.

Confirming to class ‘C’ IS : 3618.

Timing : 15 to 20 minutes.

Tank – 7 : Water rinsing.

 

Tank – 8 : Non Chrome Liquid Passivation.

Passivation treatment seals phosphate surface.

Timing : 1 minute.
